Bubbie: "Mama, please help me get my coat on to go outside."
Mama: "Sorry, Bub, it's just too cold and it's getting dark."
Bubbie: "But, Mama, the bad guys are everywhere!"
Mama: "Well don't worry about it. They'll probably freeze to death."
Bubbie: (frowning) "You're just a blue yankee!"

That is so funny! But what I think is so funny is that little Bubbie would know the difference between a Blue Yankee and a Gray Rebel!

LOL Leah-Joy! As you well know, absorbing information from older siblings is one of the many blessings of homeschooling.
And for my sweet yankee friend, don't worry, we've made peace with the fact that we lost....although you might not want to wear blue around Bub. ;-)
