1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
8 garlic cloves, minced
3 cans (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
2 cans (15 oz) tomato sauce
2 cans (6 oz) tomato paste
1/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 Tbsp. dried basil
2 tsp. dried marjoram
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
In skillet, cook beef; drain. Cook sausage; drain. Place in slow cooker, and add other ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Serve over noodles. Yield: 12 servings
