Here is the eulogy on an abortion directory website:
Today we mourn one of the nation's most visible and strident advocates for abortion rights. Tragically, Dr. George Tiller's life was taken as he served as an usher during morning services at his church by a cowardly assassin. He dedicated his life to providing women with high-quality heathcare despite frequent threats and violent attacks on him and his clinic.Dr. Tiller will forever be remembered for his valiant efforts in women's reproductive rights for over 2 decades. And, for all those who had the good fortune to meet him, will always remember him as a kind-hearted, soft spoken gentle man with a heart full of compassion and bravery. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loving wife, children and grandchildren.George you will forever remain in our hearts!
Compassion? Inserting scissors into a live baby's neck and suctioning out her brains until she stops moving?
Bravery? Assaulting the smallest and most defenseless among us?
I wish I could provide you with the link to Dr. Tiller's website, but it has been shut down since his shooting. I have been following this monster for years, and it was his brutality that really got me charged up and anxious to actually do something instead of just complain about abortion. Abortion itself, in any form or any gestational stage, is vicious enough, but Dr. Tiller brought it to new heights (talk about someone who "deviseth wicked imaginations" Prov. 6:16-19)! I'm sure you've read in the news how he performed only late term abortions, past 26 weeks gestation. Dr. Tiller pursued after those who'd been given a adverse diagnosis for their babies, for example, a diagnosis of down syndrome. (Which, by the way, is why I don't support the March of Dimes...killing the patient isn't exactly the same as curing the disease! More than research, they advocate prenatal screening, and more than 90% of couples who receive a possible down syndrome diagnosis for their child, will abort. Not exactly the ethical way to wipe out down syndrome!) As a part of the abortion process, Dr. Tiller had an apostate "minister" to actually come in and baptize the dead infants, give them a certificate of baptism, and even photograph the infants in pink or blue if the parents so desired. I've seen some of these pictures, and it is one of the most wicked and bizarre sights you could ever see. Dr. Tiller is in hell now, and one has to wonder if he still considers himself a champion of women's healthcare.
There will be, and already has been, much negative publicity for the pro-life movement because of the shooting of Dr. Tiller. I have been involved in pro-life work for many years now, and I have never associated with or personally come in contact with anyone who would even remotely approve of or promote killing an abortion provider. The shooter is in no way representative of those who fight against abortion; however, we all no doubt will be blamed and labeled as fanatics, thanks to this one man's crime. Scott Roeder (the suspect in custody), if he in fact is the shooter, has done nothing but harm pro-life America. Breaking God's laws is never the answer.
