Quite an Industrious Bunch!

Okay, so I haven't exactly been very industrious with my blog lately, but I have been busy doing a lot of other things! These past two weeks, we've re-arranged the homeschool room with a new bookshelf, moved the boys in a new set of bunk beds, cleaned out closets, and now finally, removing the old "girlie" border from the room that the boys now occupy. Add that to making some changes and additions into our homeschool curriculum, and we really have been busy. Here's what we're doing today:

Sis

Bubbie picking up wallpaper border out of the floor

Seth making tea

Summer Rose helping put the DVDs away (sort of)

Squeezing 7 people into a 3 br house is a task that I have to constantly stay on top of, being the neat freak that I am. I can't stand clutter, and I must have a place for everything (and everything in its place!) Homeschooling, of course, adds greatly to our volume of "stuff" to maintain. Sometimes I feel like I spend as much time organizing and planning school as I do teaching it! As for the kids' bedrooms, Caleb had asked me about putting up a new border to replace this one. I explained that when I put up the bedroom borders, it was just him and Sis living with us, and that borders were kind of a luxury when you knew you were going to stay put for a while. In our family, we occasionaly have to make changes to accomodate babies and brothers and sisters, etc. He decided that wasn't so bad, since you can't play with or talk to a border. I thought that was a pretty amazing perspective for an 11-year-old boy.

Gotta go, there's work to be done!

There is nothing like scraping wall paper. That is why I did not get a new border for Josh's room!
