I know everyone is making patriotic videos now, but this one is really good and definitely worth your time to watch and share.
Also, just wanted to share this useful link to an open letter by the Liberty Counsel concerning the 2010 Census and our obligations as citizens under the Constitution:
Census Questionnaire: Am I Required to Answer? by Mathew D. Staver, Liberty Counsel
It was bad enough that they had to take the Lord's Day and make such a mockery out of it with all the hoopla about "Health Care" and the vote. And I haven't forgotten that the Senate did this same thing on Christmas Eve. So now, how ironic that Obamanation chose today, Tuesday, March 23, 2010, to sign his act of treachery into "law". (Can a law that contradicts the law be rightly called "law"? I refuse to call it The Health Care Bill, but instead the government takeover of 1/6 of the U.S. economy, or socialized medicine.) Anyway....
It was on this day, 235 years ago, that Founding Father Patrick Henry gave his inspiring "Give me liberty, or give me death!" speech to the Virginia House of Burgesses, convincing them to send troops from Virginia to fight in the cause of liberty.
Barack Obama didn't grow up in America, and obviously feels no allegiance to our history or our laws. (And WHO KNOWS WHERE he was born?!) However, most of the 219 Congressman who voted for this legislation, as well as the 60 Senators, have grown up enjoying the very liberties that they now seek to snatch from us. Shame on them for trampling over the blood that was spilled by our forefathers. They leave guilty and bloody tracks as they so pridefully march toward this brave new world. Not to mention the blood of unborn babies that is dripping from their hands as they try to force God-fearing Americans to pay for murder (as if we didn't already pay for Planned Parenthood's mischief...anyway....).
Our Founding Fathers were patriots who lived by ideals and placed their lives, fortunes, and sacred honors on the line for principle. What we have today is a Congress full of empty-headed and empty-hearted, self-serving politicians. Having said that, I must thankfully acknowledge that there are a few conservative, Constitutionalists in the halls of Congress, but they are very lonely up there in Washington. Come November, we don't need to elect Republicans. We need to elect Constitutionalists!
I found this inspiring recitation of Patrick Henry's speech at a Tea Party event on You Tube. In light of all that I've had to absorb through the weekend, it made me feel better to hear this. Maybe you'll enjoy it too.
BREAKING NEWS! Obama's Birth Certificate has finally been found!
I'm so relieved. Now I don't feel quite so bad about him killing my country.

As a general rule, I do not defend Republicans, at least not RINOs (Republican In Name Only), because there are very few Conservative Constitutionalists in the Republican Party. They are part of the destructive forces in our country. However, in light of the current partisan line in the sand that has been drawn, it is pretty (sickeningly) funny to watch this video made of clips during 2005, when the Democrats were OUTRAGED at the suggestion that President Bush might even consider using the so-called "nuclear option". Just listen at these hypocrites as they suddenly found such great respect for our Constitution and the Original Intent of the Founding Fathers. How soon they forgot! I think what we have here is a case of the pot calling the TEA kettle black!
Unfortunately, just after I shot this video, Summer went to watch her Gran clean the front door glass. I was talking with some of the ladies, and suddenly I hear everyone shouting my name. To my horror, Summer was streaking across the church with a sopping wet blob of tissue paper in her hand, making a mad dash for the front door. She beat me to it and slopped that dripping mess onto the front door. I wish I could tell you that she got that water from the faucet or the water fountain, but that's just not her style. When Summer Rose needs water, she goes to the toilet.
Luckily, everyone at my church loves that mean little girl, and they were pretty good sports about having toilet water dripped all the way across the church from back to front. After all, we had just cleaned the toilet, right??
This past week has been a little too adventurous for me, and I haven't had any time or even the heart for blogging! One of the "setbacks" we've had is that our washer suddenly quit. And I mean suddenly....just after I had filled it with 7 people's worth of dirty socks and underwear and filled it with soap and water. Then...nothing! I'll spare you all the details, but it fell on me last night to empty the washer completely so Jason could move it out today.
We came home from church and I tucked everyone in soundly, so dreading sticking my hands in that cold, stinky water and wringing out all those clothes and emptying that extra-large capacity tub by hand. Then KK came sneaking down the hall and whispered, "Mama, you shouldn't have to do that by yourself. I'm going to stay up and help you." Then I go to cover the baby up and Sis stops me, "Mama, please let me help you! We can get done quicker if we work together!"
I was so thankful for the help! We're not talking about staying up and helping Mama bake cookies or something fun like that. We're talking nasty work. It took us until nearly midnight to finish, but I can't imagine how long it would have taken me alone. Sis scooped, I wrung out clothes, and KK dumped water outside. What a team!
