My boys have been so sad since learning of the death of Fess Parker. My children don't watch a lot of television, and Fess Parker, the Lone Ranger, the Rifleman, and Andy Griffith have been the bulk of their childhood viewing. It's sad to see this generation passing on, to be replaced by......whom? Certainly not the tatooed, swearing, effiminate, morally deprived, wimps that make up Hollywood today.
We will miss you, Fess!

Naturally, everyone in my house has been singing "Daniel Boone was a man, yes a big man! With an eye like an eagle and tall as a mountain was he!"
