Bubbie is growing up. Now, he chooses his own clothes, dresses himself, brushes his own teeth, and washes his own face after each meal. Can you tell?

2 or 3 kids ago, I would have insisted he match his socks, wet down his hair, and scrubbed his face. Now, I'm just glad to mark those things off my long list. Children have a way of helping perfectionists like me mellow out.
