As I can't help but hear all the "R.I.P.s" and the glowing eulogies given Michael Jackson, and as I hear the reports that there are actually 1,000,000 people who have applied for tickets to his memorial in Los Angeles tomorrow....I can't help but feel a little like Elijah the prophet in Israel, who felt like he must be the only one left who hadn't bowed his knee to Baal. Just before I was going to throw up, I saw a glimmer of hope in today's news headlines. Thank you, Rep. King, for having the decency and the nerve to speak the truth!
