Many Americans think of the Constitution when we mention America' founding document; however, our original founding document was the Declaration of Independence. To read the Declaration of Independence today, 233 years later, it is sadly obvious that we are now once again living under "despotism". I love my country, and I hope and pray that this year, as everyone looks to the skies admiring the fireworks, that Americans will look beyond the fireworks and to the heavens, and remember the God that so generously inspired and blessed this great nation.
