The child, 21 weeks and 5 days along at birth, fell short of the window of care set by the socialized healthcare standards of the U.K., which state that "viability" begins at 22 weeks. Therefore, the child was denied care and just left to lie there and die while his parents watched in horror.

Whether or not the child may or may not have survived if given treatment is not the issue. The point is that when a coldhearted, atheist beurocracry is in charge of healthcare, "personhood" means nothing. It's cost and effect. Plain and simple.
